Wichita Dog Training Club Instructors are members of the club and many have earned multiple titles in Dog competitive sports of Agility, Obedience, Rally and Utility. Our motto is "We train you to train your dog". Our Instructors use positive reinforcement and techniques that work best for the temperament of your Dog. 
Mixed and Purebred Dogs are welcome to attend all classes offered at the Wichita Dog Training Club



Vaccination Requirements

All dogs attending classes at WDTC must have evidence of a Bordetella vaccine within the past 12 months and that they are current on their 
Rabies and Distemper / Parvo as recommended by your veterinarian
Proof of current vaccinations is required during 1st class check in.
Class Fee Refund policy
There will be a full refund of class fees if the registrar is notified 7 days prior to the start date of the class session. The refund is 1/2 of class fees if the registrar is notified after the first week of class, but before the second week of class. There are no refunds after the second week of class session. Special circumstances may be submitted to and considered by the WDTC BOD. 

Class Schedules are subject to change
The Last Day for enrollment is 1 week prior to the start of class

Obedience Class Requirements:
Basic Obedience Class is required prior to CGC/TDI prep, Competition and Rally classes. All Obedience class sessions are 60 minutes
Type of Classes offered may be different each session based on instructor availability.

Agility Class Requirements:
Foundations for Agility is required prior to taking any Agility 101 class. The minimum age for dogs taking Foundations for Agility class is 18 weeks old. 
Sequence: Foundations 100; All 100 Level Classes; All 200 Level Classes; 300 Level Classes.

Classes


This class is designed for young dogs and handlers to help them move a little easier into higher level classes. It will take basic skills already learned and apply them in basic sequences. Dogs must have passed Foundations for Agility to take this class.

Cost: $ 100.00
This class trains the handler and the dog the foundation exercises for the Agility 101 classes and is required prior to enrolling in any other Agility class. The dog's recommended minimum age for taking the foundations class is 18 weeks old.

This class introduces the dog to the agility obstacles Tire, Table, Tunnel and jumps at a beginner level.

Cost: $ 100.00
This is a continuation of the Contacts 201 class. Dogs will continue working on the equipment with height gradually being added. Dogs will be introduced to crosses and sequences with the obstacles. Completing Contacts 201 is required to take this class.

This class requires the dog to be proficient with all obstacles and have successfully completed the Handling 201 class. Each week sequences of increasing difficulty will be set up for the dog and handler to run. The goal of the class is to learn how to evaluate and perform different handling strategies of sequences and improve timing with the handler and dog.

Offering two Basic Obedience Classes starting in January 1st class Mondays 3-Jan through 14-Feb. No class on Jan 24. Times 7:45PM - 8:45PM 2nd class Thursdays 20-Jan through 24 Feb. Times 6:30PM - 7:30PM

Offering two Puppy Classes starting in January 1st class Mondays 3-Jan through 14-Feb. No class on Jan 24. Time 6:30PM - 7:30PM 2nd class Thursdays 20-Jan through 24- Feb. Time 7:45PM - 8:45PM
