October - Agility 100 Foundations ADVANCED
This class is designed for young dogs and handlers to help them move a little easier into higher level classes. It will take basic skills already learned and apply them in basic sequences. Dogs must have passed Foundations for Agility to take this class.
Each class will work on basic jump skills and introduce basic sequences and skills with agility obstacles. Front, rear, and blind cross skills will be advanced. How to teach a collected jumping skill and working on dealing with obstacle discriminations will be introduced. Additional skills may be added based on time and the skill level of the class.

Skill Details: | Handler and dog should be eager to learn and follow instructor's directions. Foundation techniques are taught by shaping behavior using food treats and tug toys. Basic commands for sit, down, stays and recalls are taught in this class. |
Requirements: | Please arrive a few minutes early to check in and bring your training equipment. Suggested equipment is a quick release buckle collar with no tags on it, 6 foot leash, water & bowl for your dog, a variety of high value treats for your dog, a variety of toys such as a toy that can be stuffed with treats or one that your dog likes to tug or chase. Proof of vaccination records are required at check in for 1st class. |
